MERAKI AESTHETICS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

​Definitions:

 

Content: Any textual, visual, or audio material appearing on our website, including text, images, sounds, videos, animations, and promotional materials.

Post: To upload or place any content or material on our website.

Provider: Any individual or organisation offering services through our website.

Provider Service or Your Service: The specific service offered through our website.

Our Service: The service we offer enabling the sale of Provider Services.

Our Website: Any of our websites, including all web pages controlled or managed by us.

Patch Tests

For new clients, please book in a patch test. If no patch test is booked, a waiver will need to be signed prior to treatment or the treatment may be cancelled. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, a patch test is mandatory.
Please be advised that on rare occasions, results may not always be accurate and an allergic reaction may still occur. We strongly advise that you book your appointment at least one week before any special event.
Please also take into consideration that you can develop an allergy at any time.

 

Lash Infills

When booking in for an infill, please ensure you have 40 to 50 percent of lashes left taking into account after we remove grown out, old lashes, otherwise you will be charged for a full set. Always have clean hair, lashes, and face when coming in for your appointment. Please remove contact lenses before your appointment. Try to pre book your infills or touch ups to avoid disappointment. When infilling another salon's work, it will be completely up to us whether we feel we can safely provide an infill on top of the existing work. If the work is not to our standard, we will recommend a removal and a full set. No caffeine or alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment. Please note we do not offer lengths longer than 15 mm, as lash health is our main priority.

 

Bringing guests or pets

We kindly ask that you come to your appointment alone, so no children, guests, or pets.

If you have a special requirement, please contact us first. Due to space we strictly do not allow additional guests into the treatment room.

 

Our cancellation policy

We will always aim to fulfil our appointments on time and as booked. However, if for any reason we cannot accommodate your booking at your chosen time or date, we will make every effort to get you rebooked at a time that is convenient for you.

 

Our guarantee

We guarantee all lash sets for up to 7 days. You can contact us within this timeframe and we will fix it.
You must have followed the aftercare instructions and contacted us within the 7 days.
Anything after this period will not be covered, and your next treatment will be charged at full price.

Booking Fees:

 

Due to high demand and limited availability, Meraki Aesthetics requires a Booking Fee to secure appointments. This ensures fairness, reduces cancellations, and guarantees appointment slots are reserved for committed clients.

 

Reason For Booking Fees:

 

Booking Fees help cover essential operational expenses such as facility costs, administration, clinical supplies, and staff salaries. These fees do not generate profit but offset the significant costs involved in running a regulated clinic.

 

Booking Fee Policy:

 

 50% of treatment value

Booking Fee's are deducted from your total treatment cost if treatment is carried out on the day of your appointment.

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

 

Booking Fee's are fully refundable if you cancel or reschedule more than 24-72 hours before your appointment.

Cancellations or rescheduling made within 24-72 hours will result in loss of Booking Fee, and no refund or rescheduling will be possible.

 

Late Arrival Policy:

 

Please arrive on time.

Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the Booking Fee.

 

Appointment Timing:

 

We aim to run on time, though delays may occur due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. The morning first appointment (9am) is recommended if timing is important.

 

Doctor Availability

 

Injectable treatments at Meraki Aesthetics are provided exclusively by Altrix Medispa, our medical partners.

We cannot guarantee specific practitioners as schedules may change. You are booking with the clinic, not an individual doctor or practitioner.

 

Travel Disclaimer:

 

Meraki Aesthetics/Altrix medispa is not liable for travel or accommodation costs arising from cancellations, rescheduling, or delays. Clients are advised to book flexible travel arrangements where possible.

 

Treatment Availability and Refund Policy:

 

Same day treatment following consultation is not guaranteed.

Suitability is determined during consultation based on medical history and clinical assessment.

If treatment is not possible, your Booking Fee will cover the consultation.

 

All completed treatments are non refundable due to the use of premium materials, clinician expertise, and operational costs. Booking fee's for Botox treatments are non refundable. 

 

Injectable Treatments:

 

All injectable treatments including anti wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and skin boosters are provided only by Altrix Medispa within Meraki Aesthetics.

 

Results from aesthetic treatments cannot be guaranteed.

Swelling, bruising, and mild asymmetry are common and are not grounds for refunds.

Top up treatments are at clinician discretion and may incur additional fees.

Filler dissolving is a chargeable service and may only be performed when clinically appropriate.

 

Follow Up Appointments and Reviews:

 

A follow up appointment may be recommended after certain treatments.

If you choose not to attend, this is your choice and no compensation or refund will be provided.

 

Concerns must be reported promptly so an in person review can be arranged.

Concerns raised more than six months after treatment cannot be reviewed. Concerns for botox raised more than 21 days after initial appointment will not be reviewed. 

 

Special Events:

 

Injectable treatments may cause temporary swelling or bruising. These are not grounds for refunds or complaints.

Treatments will not be performed within 8 weeks prior to major personal events.

 

Treatment Packages:

 

Packages must be paid in full before starting treatment and used within 12 months of purchase.

Unused treatments after this period will expire and require repurchase.

Refunds are only issued for verified medical reasons and calculated by deducting full standard prices of treatments already taken, plus any non attendance fees.

 

Pricing and Payments:

 

Prices may vary especially during promotional periods.

Quotes excluding promotional pricing are valid for 4 weeks.

 

Liability:

 

Meraki Aesthetics/Altrix Medispa is not liable for economic loss, loss of profits, or indirect or consequential damages.

Clients must provide accurate medical information and follow aftercare instructions.

 

Complaints Procedure:

 

All complaints must be submitted in writing.

We will acknowledge receipt within 2 working days and aim to respond fully within 20 working days.

Some complaints may require an in person consultation.

 

Agreement:

 

By booking an appointment, you agree to all terms and conditions listed.

Repeated missed appointments may result in restricted or permanently revoked booking privileges.

Tara Amiri - GMC registered Doctor

NHS Resident Doctor

Provides all medical injectable treatments including anti wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, medical assessments and all injectable procedures offered within the clinic.

 

Luisa Gonzales - Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner/NHS Phlebotomist  and founder of Meraki Aesthetics and Partner of Altrix Medispa

Does not provide medical procedures (to treat illness or disease)

Provides cosmetic treatments only including dermal fillers, anti wrinkle treatments administered alongside our prescriber Dr Tara, skin boosters and all other non medical aesthetic procedures permitted under UK law

Holds all required UK qualifications and certifications to safely and legally perform cosmetic injectable treatments within her scope of practice. Has all relevant insurance documentation.
